WE MEET AT "CALVARY CHAPEL ORLANDO", 5015 Goddard Avenue, Orlando, FL 32804, on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
Networking starts at 9:30, members must register by 9:45 to be critiqued,
The general meeting starts promptly at 10.
When we CANNOT meet at Calvary Chapel, OUR ALTERNATE LOCATION IS "REACH ORLANDO" CHURCH.

- Find a large variety of classes to choose from.
- Meet with editors, agents, and publishers.
- Have one on one consultation sessions with leaders and teachers when requested for available time slots.
- Enjoy meals with fellow authors and writers!

WORD WEAVERS ORLANDO knows that building your craft of writing in a critique group is one of the most valuable steps you can take as a writer.
A critique group is not just a place to share your work—it’s a space to grow, refine, and be sharpened by the perspectives of others.
Every writer has blind spots, and when you bring your work before trusted peers, they help you see what you might miss on your own.
The key is to enter with a teachable spirit.
Instead of fearing feedback, view it as a gift. Even if not every suggestion fits your style, hearing how your words land with readers allows you to adjust and strengthen your voice.
At the same time, offering critiques sharpens your own skills. When you analyze another writer’s work—seeing what resonates, what confuses, or what could be stronger—you learn to recognize the same things in your own writing.
Consistency also matters. Showing up regularly keeps you motivated and accountable. Over time, you’ll find that the group becomes more than just readers—it becomes a community that cheers you on, challenges you, and celebrates your milestones. Writing may feel solitary, but in a critique group, you discover you’re never creating alone.
