WORD WEAVERS ORLANDO PRESENTS "KINGDOM CREATIVES" A FREE celebration by faith-based Word Weaver song writers, authors, and artists who are impacting the world with their God-given talents.

OUR EVENT IS HELD THE 2ND SATURDAY OF MARCH EVERY YEAR- 

Stroll our vendor tables and meet authors and artists, enjoy original music and meet the song writers. 

On March 14, 2026 our event will be held at REACH ORLANDO CHURCH.

Word Weaver WRITERS AND CREATIVES are encouraged to rent a vendor table!  

(See below for "on stage" performers)

 Promote your book(s),  writings, poetry, art, ministry, T-Shirts, Promo items, jewelry, etc from a vendor table. You must provide your own tablecloth and décor including business cards, candy,  raffle at your table is encouraged. Set up by 8:30 am. Proceeds go toward Event costs. First come, first serve for table spaces. The deadline to book a table is the last day of February. You are responsible for your own bank drawer. Wi-fi is available if you need it for credit card sales. Just ask!

Word Weaver 

SONG WRITERS are encouraged to sign up to perform on stage.  (You must attend a Word Weavers Critique session or Song Writers/Poetry critique session prior to our event with your lyrics and then submit them by the end of February via email to kingdomcreativesevent@gmail.com. 

We have available time slots from 9:00 to Noon for you to sign up. A stage will be set up for you.  First come, first serve for time slots. 

In Orlando, Song writers meet the 4th Saturday of the month (10am at  Reach Church Orlando)

SCHEDULE

9:00-12:00 - doors open. Visit vendor tables and author book signings in the fellowship hall. ALSO, Christian song writers will be performing on stage in the Sanctuary.

By 9:45 any Word Weaver Member must register for critique groups, also Guests can join in and observe, but must register by 9:45 as well. Critiques will start at 12:30.

12:00-12:15 Everyone can join in the sanctuary for The Florida Tapestry Award Presentations // Vendor tables in the fellowship hall are now CLOSED for the event.

12:30- 2:30 critique group sessions

NOTE TO VENDORS: between 12:00 -3:00 all tables must be cleared out of the fellowship hall.  

The Florida Christian Writers Conference (FCWC) is held every year in October, right here at Lake Yale Conference Center in Florida.  You will:

•  Find a large variety of classes to choose from.
• Meet with editors, agents, and publishers.
• Have one on one consultation sessions with leaders and teachers when requested for available time slots.
• Enjoy meals with fellow authors and writers! 

FCWC is a MUST to attend!

SCHOLARSHIPS

Are you a Word Weaver Member and short on funds? Need some help to attend FCWC?  Several scholarships are available for FCWC from WW Intl and WW Orlando! 

Word Weavers International offers several scholarships at: https://word-weavers.com/scholarships  You will find guidelines there as well.

ALSO, Below is  info for Word Weavers Orlando Scholarships (Only WWO Members may apply for these local scholarships):

Open to any Word Weaver Orlando Chapter Member.  Apply for a full or partial scholarship, depending on your situation and need.  The info below must be submitted by Aug 01. Leadership will choose and contact winner(s) soon thereafter.  

In 500 words or less tell us:

-About your writing journey: what you write, how long have you been writing, how long have you been a Word Weaver, etc.

-What has brought you to the place of requesting scholarship funds and why is FCWC important to you? 

-What type of scholarship will help you; full, partial, on property, or commuter?

 WORD WEAVERS ORLANDO celebrates the joy of Christmas at our regular monthly December meeting, on the 2nd Saturday 

of that month.  

Our event is held at REACH ORLANDO CHURCH.

Members are invited to bring a favorite dish for a festive potluck meal as we share good food and meaningful conversation. 

After lunch, we’ll enjoy a lighthearted Gift exchange ($10 cost limit)—an opportunity for creativity, surprises, and plenty of laughter as we swap gifts and stories.

Don't forget to wear your "Creative Christmas" Sweater for our contest! Best in Creativity WINS!

By 9:45 Members who want to be critiqued, MUST sign up.

10 am Our General Meeting starts.

 12:30 Potluck, gift exchange, creative sweater contest.

 This special Christmas Event is a time to pause from deadlines and drafts to reflect on God’s goodness, the friendships we’ve formed, and the words He’s placed on our hearts.
